Linear Design + Construct undertook the design and construction of this client’s ‘forever’ dream home in the Wilston area.
An elevated site capturing spectacular panoramic views, stretching from the Brisbane City Skyline to the south across to Moreton Island in the north. The major challenge was the property falls 11m from the front to the rear.
The development of the design and build was very much a collaborative effort between the clients and Linear Design + Construct . Given the difficulty of the site, all design was analysed on functionality, aesthetic and engineering.
The owners envisaged a residence with a street facade that would suit the location and never date. Whilst also providing a ‘Wow-Factor’, that also incorporated expansive living and was ideal for entertaining.
This magnificent home is a Grand Contemporary Queenslander in the Colonial Hampton style, with multiple gables and partial wrap round verandah. This luxury home has been built to suit the owners’ needs and lifestyle both now and to adapt to the evolving family dynamics in the future.
