The contemporary houses were part of a larger sub-division in Toowong, converting 1 lot into 3. This included the re-positioning of an
existing Queenslander onto a newly created smaller single lot,
and the construction of two free standing contemporary homes both on their own individual lots.
The two new homes were constructed on incredibly small lots of 220m2 each, that suffered from site restrictions and tight access issues. The homes were finished in a combination of Scandanvian/Queenslander style incorporating burnish concrete floors, White Corian benchtops throughout and Vic Ash timber stairs, flooring and joinery finishes. Extensive engineering works were also undertaken, converting the steep sloping site into usable flat individual lots.
Even though the owners were ex pats that resided in Hong Kong throughout the duration of the build. The construction proceeded seamlessly due to open lines of communication and our management systems which provided ample forward planning.
